Abbie Diane Bilbao

Not too many pics, but here she is. I'll try to get more on later. We went in today (2-18-11) at 6:30 am to be induced. The process started a little slow, it took 3 pokes of the IV to get it to work. They actually had to go get the one nurse who puts IV's in babies to get one in tif (she's such a baby, ha ha ha). Anyway, they got it in finally around 8:30 am. We then played the waiting game for several hours, constantly getting checked and measured. Around 3:00 pm the nurse checked her again, turned to us and said "You're done", as if the bun in the oven was completely cooked and ready to come out! She paged the doctor and said he'll be here in "10" minutes. Well, 10 minutes later he came in and Tif started to push. She pushed for 10 minutes is all and baby Abbie was here. She weighed 6 pounds 11 ounces and was 19.5 inches long. She so far has been a very calm and quiet baby, we know that will change soon but are enjoying the peaceful new baby. Cody absolutely LOVES his new baby sister. He has waited patiently for her to come for long time now, and she is finally here. He loves to hold her on his lap (with dad's help of course), give her kisses, and pat her tummy. He is so funny around her. We are so happy to have her here and that both are doing good and healthy. Hopefully I'll get new pictures up soon, but I make no promises!

Cody and His Surgery and more

Cody Sporting a russian hat. He loves having things on his head.

Cody wearing daddy's high school football jersey. The very jersey that daddy wore when he played.

Cody.... I mean santa clause at IHOP on christmas eve with mommy and daddy. As you can tell he's not impressed that we made him stop delivering presents in order to eat with us. So sorry if your present was late, it's our fault.

Cody taking his first steps. He started walking on Jan. 9th. He was 10 1/2 months old.

Here is cody waiting for the doctor in the wee early hours of the morning before he went in and got his blocked tear duct unblocked. He loved his little scrubs they gave him with his little booties sockies.

Here is cody after his surgery. He did very well. But as he was coming out of he knock out gas he didn't want to eat or drink anything except the gatorade the nurse gave him. He cleary understands that if you want to be the best and be a champ then you can only drink gatorade. What a funny kid.

Cody didn't like the monitors they hooked up to his feet. Nor did he like the IV they put in him. Here he is trying to tear them out.

Here is cody on the oxygen they gave him after his surgery. He was more interested in biting the rim of it rather than breathing the air.

Halloween and more

Here's Cody at Grandma and Grandpa Bilbao's on their new 4 wheeler. He didn't like to too much but did ok.

This is our version of where's waldo? We call it "Where's Cody?" Very original. can you find him? He loved sitting in those pumpkins. The people who own the store weren't too keen on it, but oh well.

Here is the fort Cody and I built. It was our first attempt. I'm Sure there will be a lot more to come. He loved reading his book in the fort with us.

Cody and his new friend a sheep or lamb or whatever it is. They had a staring competition, Cody won. This was when we took Cody to Hee Haws and did the farm animal thing and the corn maze.

Cody posing as a giant pumpkin, in one of those wooden cut out things. You can't really see the pumpkin but Cody sure is cute.

Here is just the other day at the park by our house. It was such good weather that we decided to go to the park when i got out of school. He loved the slides.

Cody has taught himself to climb the stairs. Man, life was so much easier when he couldn't move, and you didn't have to watch every step he takes.

This is me for halloween, I was the swine flu.

Here is Cody for halloween. If you can't see he's a skunk. Tif and her mom made the costume, i think it turned out very good.

And here is Cody about 15 minutes into trick-or-treating. He didn't last too long. We sure had fun as parents though.

Cody dressed like Slash the rock star. He loved the hair. Maybe he'll finally have his own hair someday.

Here is cody at our yard sale, we put a price tag on him labeled "Cheap". But now looking at that face it's pretty obvious why he didn't sell, too mean.

Cody at bear lake on a floaty shark. He absolutely loved the water and sand.

Cody and daddy soaking up some sun at bear lake

Move over burger king, there's a new king in town. We stopped by BK in logan on our way home from bear lake. He wasn't too sure he liked his crown.

Just a cute smile that we had to put in here.

This is cody and Nina. She is Tyson and Emi Fieldsted's little baby girl. We're trying to do an arranged marriage.

His first experience with Rice cereal. Got a little messy but he liked it a lot.

here is the back of the onesie that tif made for him for his first Timpanogos high school football game that he went to last friday. While daddy was coaching on the sidelines cody was cheering the team on with this awesome onesie! it says "Bilbao" on back if you can't see it.

here is the front of the onesie. It is a t-wolf head. Tif made it for him. he looked so cute. Kinda a funny looking picture of him but we're showing the onesie.
